League Requirements / Limitations

In order to function as intended, a league should:

  • Play head-to-head games.
  • Sort standings either by winning percentage or by "league-points" (e.g. soccer).
  • Award "record-based" playoff spots on the above sorting, with "points-based" playoff spots for leftover teams an available option for premium users.
  • Have all teams play the same number of games.
  • For normal (non-Median-scoring) leagues, leagues with more than 32 teams or that play more than 16 games per round (e.g. doubleheader rounds) will likely encounter limits to the full functionality of the App. These are difficult to quantify ahead of time as they depend on the exact scenario presented at time of calculations.
  • For leagues that utilize Median scoring (available for premium users), league size is limited to 12 teams and leagues cannot be multi-division or multi-conference or have any remaining doubleheader rounds or bye-weeks. Due to the complexities of Median scoring, some advanced features are not available (e.g. "what-if" scenario generation).
